About Me

I am a master's student at the University of  Florida studying Mass Communications/Digital Marketing Strategy. I currently work in merchandise sales at Walt Disney World at The Emporium. I have an interest in marketing and business strategy. I am open to exploring careers in marketing, public relations, corporate communications, and retail management.

What I’ve Done

May 2024 - May 2025

MERCHANDISE SALES (DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM)

I gained valuable experience working directly with guests in a variety of different roles. Including but not limited to register, stocking merchandise, and expediting merchandise in the stock rooms. Responded to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner. I expanded my skills in multitasking by being able to operate a register, handle large amounts of cash, and communicate with guests. I also assisted guests by providing world-class guest service and in-depth knowledge of Disney and its parks. Most importantly I gained valuable experience working with fellow cast members and guests from a wide variety of different backgrounds and cultures. 

January 2023 - May 2023

Account Supervisor, Sago Agency

During my time with the student-run advertising agency as an account supervisor for our account representing the Florida Department of Transportation. I gained experience with handling agency-to-client communications, managed multiple projects with strict deadlines, developed professional campaign material, and developed a media kit for Florida Public Media. I gained valuable experience leading a team with different levels of experience and upholding our client expectations and our agencies set standards for the quality of our marketing materials.

Publix:
Customer Service Staff

During my time working for Publix I gained experience working in customer service as both a cashier and front service clerk. I learned how to best work with customers directly within my role as a cashier. During my time at Publix I was also trained and promoted to Customer Service Staff, This meant my responsibilities included operating the customer service desk, performing closing duties in our cash office, and performing duties as a Front End Coordinator (Customer Service Coordinator). When at the desk I helped customers with any issues and refunds they may need to make, along with selling and working with lotto tickets. I also gained experience in dealing with Western Union money transfers. As a Front End Coordinator (Customer Service Coordinator), I was responsible for running the customer service department when managers were not present, writing and editing cart service schedules, and adjusting associates' assigned duties based on workload demand.

During my time at St. Petersburg College I obtained the skills and education to be able to take the steps needed to advance my education and towards my degree.

January 2021- December 2022

B.S. Integrated Public Relations and Advertising, The University of South Florida

During my time at The University of South Florida so far I have made progress not only in my degree but I have also gained valuable knowledge and skills related to my future career path within marketing and advertising.

August 2024-present

M.A. Mass Communication/Digital Marketing Strategy, University of Florida

 My master's program is designed to enhance my overall knowledge, skills, and abilities in areas like marketing analytics, digital marketing, and brand management. My concentration in digital marketing strategy is helping me enhance and gain skills that will help me adjust and evolve in the constantly changing landscape of digital marketing and communication. My program does this by providing classes in areas like creativity in marketing, consumer behavior, research for marketing managers, digital marketing, and many more. These classes allow students to not only have the skills to work on and develop marketing campaigns but also provide students with the skills and ability to conduct market research and data analytics that can help back up their decisions on the direction of marketing campaigns.
